Sunrise at Navy Pier

Sunrise at Navy Pier

Chicago, IL. It was early in the morning on a July of 2014. It was cold and rainy. I wanted to stay under the warm covers but instead forced myself to head out to the Chicago Navy Pier. Was glad I did the sunset that morning was a beautiful orange color. And the light house off of the pier seemed surreal. It was a gorgeous morning. Hope everyone enjoys this oil painting.

Tree of Lights

Tree of Lights

With the wind chill, it was a sub zero 2014 January night and there was a lot of snow on the ground. Even though it was January, there was still the feel of Christmas in the air. So I decided to get in the sled I mean the car go view the Christmas tree in downtown Indianapolis Indiana on the Monument Circle. It was so cold that my fingers were frozen within minutes of setting up my tripod and camera. But the sky was clear that night and was able to get some good pics for the acrylic painting. It was still a festive mood and I hope that you enjoy the painting. Feel free to leave your comments and feedback.

serenity on the canal

Serenity on the Canal

It was a cool fall day in 2014. But,I decided to take a walk along the canal anyway. I had just came from long time friends life celebration and was enjoying the beautiful fall colors of the canal.  It seemed as if the canal was deserted as there weren't many people at the canal that day. However it was a beautiful fall day there at the canal and I was overcome by the serenity as well as the beauty of the canal. I decided to create an oil painting showing the serene view from under the arches. I hope everyone enjoys viewing this painting of a section of the Indianapolis downtown canal.
